During a typhoon, Zhou Yue'e's daughter, Niuniu, goes missing. She shelters lawyer Song Ziheng in her basement, who attempts to assault her. As more seek refuge, survival and betrayal unfold. When news hints that Niuniu is dead, Zhou discovers that the basement occupants killed her daughter.
