Zhuang Yao encounters a troublesome child and their even more troublesome parent while shopping at the mall. Together, the shop owner Shen Ling and Shen Laotai (the child's grandmother) conspire to extort money from her. The incident begins when Shen Laotai's granddaughter tries to take Zhuang Yao's ice cream, which Zhuang Yao refuses. Shen Ling then accuses Zhuang Yao of damaging her store's items and demands compensation. The situation escalates when Shen Ling attacks Zhuang Yao and demands 1 million in compensation. The plot thickens as Shen Ling mistakenly believes Zhuang Yao is the mistress of Lu Nan—a misunderstanding orchestrated by Shen Ling’s malicious intent. In reality, Zhuang Yao is Lu Nan's stepmother. Lu Nan, too embarrassed to correct Shen Ling’s assumption, allows the misunderstanding to grow. This continues until Lu’s father arrives, and only then does Shen Ling realize that she has offended the future mother-in-law of Lu Nan.
