Demigod Ava's heroic deed is stolen by her half-sister; in despair she marries a dormant fallen god, awakens him, and earns his love. The Thunder God learns the truth and tries to force her back—even threatening suicide—but Ava leaves. He pays the price; Ava finds peace with her beloved.
